Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Rhea County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
