Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turner in Clay County, Iowa. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code The role involves: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
