Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Grayson County, Virginia. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
