Aluminium tig welder wanted in Pitkin County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
