Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Greene County, Ohio. You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile 4+ years on the tools preferred.
