Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Allen Parish, Louisiana. You will work on an industrial construction site. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Six days a week, one day off.
