Panel welder • Plymouth, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Plymouth, England. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 6+ years on the tools preferred. £3,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
