Gas pipe fitter • Mills County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Mills County, Texas. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
