Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Panola County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift.
