Gas pipe fitter — Saunders County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Saunders County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On a typical shift you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
