Laundry presser • Washington County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Washington County, New York. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
