Gas pipe fitter wanted in DeKalb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
