Your main tasks: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
