Automotive paint technician • Franklin County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Franklin County, Washington. You will work in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch 5+ years on the tools preferred.
