Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Cotton County, Oklahoma. You will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off.
