Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Hawkins County, Tennessee. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Full-time, day shift.
