Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Seneca County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting.
