Safety inspector wanted in Mecklenburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Day-to-day duties: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
