Bar bender and fixer • Bichi, Kano State

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Bichi, Kano State. The job is on a busy residential building site. The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 6+ years on the tools preferred.
