Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Union County, Iowa. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
