Vacancy available: garment presser (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Scott County, Mississippi. You will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
