Vacancy available: production operative (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production operative in Davidson County, North Carolina. You will work in a CNC machine shop. You will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
