Urgent requirement: sample machinist (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Six days a week, one day off.
