We are recruiting: elevator repair technician (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Mills County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
