Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Mineral County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
