Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
