Finishing presser wanted in Hamilton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
