Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
