Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Contra Costa County, California. You will work in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
