Join our team: we are hiring a production line operator in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. What we are looking for: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day to day you will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; set up and start the machine as per the job card; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
