Argon arc welder wanted in Middlesex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Middlesex County, Virginia. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
