Urgent requirement: brick and block layer (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Steuben County, New York. You will work on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
