Banksman wanted in Ohio County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Ohio County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
