Gas installation technician wanted in East Baton Rouge Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 6+ years on the tools preferred.
