MIG/MAG welder — Essex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Essex County, New York. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Six days a week, one day off. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
