Production line inspector — Portsmouth

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Portsmouth, England. The job is on a garment production line. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer Full-time, day shift.
