Shuttering and concrete hand • Ohio County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Ohio County, West Virginia. You will be based on a building construction site. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
