Shuttering charge hand • Hanover County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Hanover County, Virginia. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On the job you will handle: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
