Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
