Occupational health and safety officer — Brookings County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Brookings County, South Dakota. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Six days a week, one day off.
