Your main tasks: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
