Immediate opening: tig welder (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Harmon County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
