Immediate opening: garment machinist (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Cumberland County, Tennessee. The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Rotating shifts.
