Gang bricklayer — Ards and North Down

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks You will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
