Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile installer in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Day to day you will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
