HSE supervisor — Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
