Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel technician in Jefferson County, Indiana. Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day-to-day duties: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
