GTAW welder — Murray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Murray County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding.
