Shuttering charge hand wanted in Raleigh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
