Join our team: we are hiring a building site helper in Dickson County, Tennessee. You will work with a civil contractor. Your main tasks: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
